Week 10

You started making more sounds and hearing your voice.
We started putting you in your crib for naps during the day to get you used to your room. At times it works great and other times it's more work. Just depends on your mood right now :)
You still have your cold but you are smiling a lot now and starting to laugh a little.
Sleeping is still the same but it's normal since you are still very young my cutie.

Week 9

Your first day at week 9 and you had your dr appt. 2 shots and boy did you not like those. Thankfully you didn't cry long though.
It's so painful to watch you get upset. Today you weight 13lbs 12oz and 2 ft long!!
Unfortunately, you had a rough evening and we couldnt get you to stop crying. It was so sad. I think you finally wore yourself down and passed out.

We went to Seattle. Your first flight! Boy was I worried. I'm not even sure why because you slept on the plane both ways! How good were you! We had suchhhh a blast though meeting up with everyone. You were so mellow all weekend. You met your new friend Delaney Grace who is just 29 days younger than you are. Her mom and me talked all the time during our pregnancies. It was nice to finally meet up.
And you had your first cold when we got back home along with me. This soo isn't fun for either of us.

Onward and upward baby!

Week 8

We met up with Chris, Kathy and their little one, Kaitlin who is 6 months. The two of you got to hang out for the first time on the table outside of Oasis in Menlo Park (good burgers). We got a few pics of you which was really cute. Kaitlin reached out to hold your arm which was soooo cute. You kept looking at her.
You are growing out of your 0-3mo old clothes! I couldn't believe it when I put you in this white outfit with feet and the feet were tight and your sleeves didn't touch your wrists. HA! Amazing how fast you are growing. You are definitely shaping into this little boy and not so much a baby anymore especially when we put you in little boy clothes like a polo shirt and jeans. Very cute.
daddy and I celebrated our 1yr anniversary and we went to Izzy's Steakhouse and brought you with us. You slept the whole time so thank you for letting daddy and I have a romantic evening together.
I took you to your first class at Gymboree on Tuesday and you loved it! We got to sing songs and look at colors. After class I was holding and patting you while talking to the teacher and you completely passed out. Then you slept for 2 1/2 hours! haaaaaa
We took you to the post office today to get your passport photo and application taken care of. You were awake and very good as the lady took your photo. Now, we wait and see how it goes and hopefully take a trip to Taiwan with Daddy!! We might even get to meet Auntie Colleen while we are there!

You started putting your hands together in front of you and making cooing sounds. I can tell you recognize your voice now and are trying to make all kinds of sounds.

Daddy helped you up by your hands in the bed this week and you stood up on the bed. Amazing at the strong legs you have already at 2 months is unbelievable.

Week 7

You finally slept 5 hours almost each night! yeah!!! Very nice for mommy. Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to update what's been going on too much but I will try to as these weeks go on. We celebrated Grandpa Joe's 70th birthday together which was really nice. We went to a place called Rok in Sunnyvale where you cook your own meat at the table. You'd think if you had to cook your own meat that it would be cheaper! ha You slept pretty much the whole time. Towards the end we were able to pass you around the table to everyone so they had a chance to hold you. Then we stayed with Uncle Joe and Auntie Shanna that night which was great. You slept between Daddy and I in bed and you slept really well and so did Mommy finally. We went to church, all of us, the next morning to see Father Gene O'Donnell. He blessed you as we went up to Communion. What a great weekend!
